Located off Playa Santa Teresa on the Nicoya Peninsula, Latitude 10 Resort is a small boutique hotel with just 6 open-air intimate casitas with personalized service perfect for honeymoons and romantic getaways.
Latitude 10 was built as a private resort and is now available to the public. As the winner of the 2008 Grand Award in the International Class for second homes, the resort leaves nothing to be desired in luxury and elegance in its natural setting, providing interaction with the jungle and the beachfront location.
Originally created as a place for two friends and their families, the Latitude 10 Resort maintains that relaxing summer vacation feel. Take a surf lesson on the famous surf break of Playa Santa Teresa or lounge on white sand beaches. Activities from Latitude 10 Resort also include canopy ziplining and day tours to Curu Reserve, Tortuga Island and Montezuma Waterfall.
By conserving the local environment and focusing on sustainability, Latitude 10 has managed to find the perfect balance between private villa, eco-adventure hotel, and beach resort.
Latitude 10 Rooms
Latitude 10 Resort consists of six spacious free standing, individually decorated and private casitas, as well as a room connected to the main building.
Each casita has its own tropical décor, situated on over seven acres of private beachfront property located near the bustling beach town of Santa Teresa on the Southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. Staying at Latitude 10 is like staying with good friends at their luxury beach house. Note: Latitude 10 has open-air casitas with no A/C.
The one Guestroom at Latitude 10 Resort is connected to the main building and is the only room with air conditioning.
The three Junior Suites at Latitude 10 offer comfort in this remote tropical paradise. All Junior Suites have an open air bathroom and a small porch. The two Junior Suites contain queen-sized beds and the one Premium Junior Suite contains a king-sized bed.
The two Master Suites are large and comfortable, a good fit for one to three people. Originally constructed for the two owners of the property, they’re still occasionally referred to as the “Casa de Bob” or “Casa de Rick!”
The sleeping area in the master suites are connected with the lounge area, and the table sits four. Both of these suites have stunning ocean views and spacious porches for a relaxing evening watching the sunset.
