The RIU Palace is located on the edge of the lovely beach of Matapalo in Guanacaste. While Guanacaste is less humid and tropical than other parts of Costa Rica, is also features the widest variety of activities and tours.
The RIU Palace, like many of the resorts and hotels in the area, offers plenty of options for fun on the beaches such as diving or fishing, as well as ecotourism tours near the volcanic areas of Costa Rica and a number of other entertainments. Equipment is available for windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling, and kayaking.
There are a myriad of other ways to stay entertained at the RIU Palace, such as the four swimming pools, ice cream parlor, kids’ club, and four different theme restaurants – each serving delicious international and local cuisines!
