Opening on January 29, 2019, Nantipa Resort is a boutique beachfront hotel with free-standing bungalows overlooking the coast in the beach town of Santa Teresa on the Nicoya Peninsula.
The Manzu Restaurant is set beachside with views of the ocean and sunset. Mixologists craft unique tropical cocktails featuring local liquors and Costa Rican fruits. The cuisine features Costa Rican inspired ingredients with fresh seafood and Tico favorites like gallows, tacos, Casado, ceviche, and more.
The pool is located within close proximity to the beach in the center of the property. The pool has a sunbathing terrace with a full beverage menu available. Additionally, ample sand and green space available for privacy.
At present, a limited spa menu is available at an alfresco bungalow near the beach. The hotel has plans to reveal a full spa menu in phase two.
Outside the laid-back surf town of Santa Teresa, there is much to be explored from Nantipa Resort. Guests can book surf lessons, a guided hike to Curu Reserve or Cabo Blanco National Park, a visit to Montezuma Waterfall, beach horseback riding, a zipline canopy tour, or a tour of Tortuga Island.
Nantipa Resort has 15 bungalows spread over the 5.68 acres (2.3 hectares) property. Nearly every room has full or partial ocean views along with pool and garden views. Bungalows have flat-screen cable TVs, small dining tables, work desk, Wifi, climate controls, and a minibar.
There are eight 700 square foot Nanku Bungalows have separate bedrooms with one king or two queen beds, a large living area, and a pullout sofa bed. Each bungalow has a bathroom and a terrace.
The seven 800 square foot Ninta Bungalows have large terraces with 10 x 10 ft a private pool, a hammock, an indoor/outdoor shower, and a king bed or double bed. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows showcase incredible ocean views and sunsets.
