Day 1
Transfer to Peace Lodge at La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in San Jose transfer approximately 1 hour to Peace Lodge at La Paz Waterfall Gardens for overnight. On the grounds of a private nature reserve a trail system connects waterfalls, gardens, a butterfly observatory, and more.
Day 2
Private La Paz Waterfall Gardens Tour
This will be your ultimate Costa Rican experience of five waterfalls, cloud forest, and rain forest. Visit the rescue's wildlife sanctuary, which has over 100 species of animals. The hummingbird garden, frog exhibit, snake exhibit, and much more are all available for you to explore! You will have the chance to feed both toucans and hummingbirds. Overnight Peace Lodge.
Day 3
Transfer to The Springs Resort, Arenal / La Fortuna
Today, you will be met and driven approximately 2 hours to the Arenal Volcano. Arenal is a cone-shaped volcano that dominates the landscape. Arrive at The Springs Resort & Spa for overnight. The Springs promises to overwhelm you with the highest quality of service and design. The resort perches above the Arenal Valley on a mountain ridge, allowing for not only incomparable views of the Arenal volcano, the lush valley, and the surrounding towns that sparkle at night, (rated one of the most spectacular views in the world by CNN), but also giving the property access to the area’s prevailing breezes.
Day 4
Arenal Free Day
Book a day excursion at Club Rio, The Springs' outdoor adventure center. Club Rio offers a variety of adventures including river kayaking, tubing, horseback riding, hiking trails, and more. Explore the hot springs and thermal pools present throughout the resort grounds. Don't miss the rescued wildlife exhibit for an up-close look at nature. Add Arenal Volcano Tours. Overnight The Springs Resort.
Day 5
Sky Walk, Aerial Tram, Trek Zipline Tour
Begin your day with the Sky Walk, a guided tour perfect for nature lovers! On this tour, look for a variety of flora, fauna, and beautiful birds. Along the 2.25-mile trail (approximately 3 hours), observe 3 waterfalls, one of which drops 30 meters. On the Sky Tram cable car, get a bird's eye view of the volcano, Lake Arenal, and the Tilaran Mountain Range. The Sky Tram ends at a wide observation platform where you can take photos and admire the volcano backdrop. Finally, take off on the Sky Trek, a system of zip lines that includes 8 cross-sectional cables at a maximum height of 660 feet. Overnight The Springs Resort.
Day 6
Transfer to Arenas del Mar Beach Resort, Manuel Antonio / Quepos
Today transfer to the Arenal Airport for a short charter flight to Quepos. Upon arrival transfer to Arenas del Mar Beach and Nature Resort, located next to the Manuel Antonio National Park on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Unique beach and nature experiences combined with the highest levels of comfort and sustainability in a local Costa Rican setting define the concept of Arenas del Mar.
Day 7
