Originally created as a beach house for two friends and their families, the Latitude 10 Resort maintains a relaxing summer vacation charm. Latitude 10 has an incredible beachfront location with hammocks, daybeds, and loungers perfect for taking in this wild coastal paradise. Lounge on beautiful desolate beaches or take a 5-minute walk to world-class surf breaks. Santa Teresa is well-known for yoga and surfing and is celebrated as on the world’s blue zones, a region of the world in which people live notably longer lives. The beach at low tide forms large tidepools perfect for family exploration. Kids will love exploring these warm bathtub water-like pools!
Activities from Latitude 10 Resort include canopy zip lining, snorkeling, horseback riding, and day tours to Curu Reserve, Tortuga Island, and Montezuma Waterfall. Latitude 10 also offers complimentary seaside yoga three times per week in high season (winter months) and two times per week in low season (summer months). Private yoga sessions are also available for an additional cost in the location of your choosing.
Latitude 10 Rooms
Latitude 10 Resort consists of five spacious free standing, individually decorated and private casitas, as well as one guest room connected to the main building.
Each casita has its own tropical décor, situated on over seven acres of private beachfront property located near the bustling beach town of Santa Teresa on the Southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. Staying at Latitude 10 is like staying with good friends at their luxury beach house.
Please Note: Latitude 10 has open-air casitas with no A/C and no screens. At night, blinds come down to offer privacy.
The one Guestroom at Latitude 10 Resort is connected to the main building and is the only room with air conditioning. The guest room has an outdoor shower, is wheelchair accessible, and accommodates two adults.
The three Junior Suites at Latitude 10 offer comfort in this remote tropical paradise. All Junior Suites have an open-air bathroom with outdoor shower and a small porch. These accommodate 1 – 3 guests. The two Junior Suites contain queen-sized beds and the one Premium Junior Suite contains a king-sized bed.
The two Master Suites are the largest on the property and can accommodate 2 adults or a family of 4. They are directly beach front with just a thin layer of vegetation separating you from the beach. Originally constructed for the two owners of the property, they’re still occasionally referred to as the “Casa de Bob” or “Casa de Rick!”
The sleeping area in the master suites are connected with the lounge area, and the table sits four. Both of these suites have stunning ocean views and spacious wrap-around porches with hammocks for a relaxing evening watching the sunset.
