Activities at Laguna Azul Ecolodge
Looking for a vacation that will relax and inspire in equal measures? The Caribbean waves and ocean breeze create the perfect ambiance for a day spent on a terrace that looks out into the sea. Spend some time in the floating deck/solarium, where the warm sun and your favorite book will put you in just the mood for a delightful zen holiday. Don’t think, however, that just because this is an ecolodge that it’s lacking in amenities. Enjoy the TV lounge, a reading area, table tennis, a pool table, and a fully equipped gym – all surrounded by the beauty of mangroves and the garden. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the lobby.
The Laguna Azul Eco Lodge is dedicated to the environment. Special ceilings in the rooms collect rainwater, which is stored and treated. The Hotel was built to benefit from the Atlantic breezes, saving energy yet keeping cool! A solar panel produces 24-hour energy for guests.
Rooms at Laguna Azul
Laguna Azul ecolodge is made up of 8 rooms. There are 4 Ocean-View rooms that contain two double beds and a King Ocean-View room which has a King-size bed instead of the two double beds. There is an additional ground floor Ocean-View room which occasionally gets Wi-Fi (thanks to being next to the lobby), as well as a Queen-size bed. The last two rooms are Mangrove View Superior rooms, which contain one or two double beds. All rooms have amazing views, most with oceanfront porches.
