Our 8-night Costa Rica Honeymoon Highlights vacation package highlights will bring you to some of Costa Rica’s most unique destinations: the cloud forest, a volcano, and a beach rainforest!


Day 1
Arrive at La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica you will be met and driven approximately 1 hour to Peace Lodge at La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Peace Lodge is located in one of Costa Rica's high-elevation cloud forest regions on the grounds of a private nature reserve with five waterfalls, hummingbird gardens, butterfly gardens, and a wildlife refuge interconnected by a network of trails.
Day 2
Private Waterfall Gardens Tour
An experienced guide will lead you through La Paz Waterfall Gardens to some of the most famous waterfalls in Costa Rica. Visit the rescued wildlife refuge, home to over 100 animal species. The refuge includes monkeys, jungle cats, 40 bird species, frogs, snakes, and more. You'll even have the opportunity to feed the toucans and hummingbirds! Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight Peace Lodge.
Day 3
Transfer to Arenal / La Fortuna
Today, you will be met and driven approximately 2 hours to Amor Arenal in the Arenal / La Fortuna area. Amor Arenal is ideally positioned in the foothills of Arenal Volcano with breathtaking views of the volcano from a forested canyon. Take in your surroundings from the on-site thermal springs accessible to guests.
Day 4
Hanging Bridges & La Fortuna Waterfall Hike
Begin your day trekking through the Mistico Hanging Bridges private nature reserve led by your naturalist guide. Cross a series of eight fixed and six hanging suspension bridges observing the unique wildlife of the region as your guide points out the characteristics of the ecosystem and natural history surrounding Arenal Volcano. Don't miss the waterfall extension trail toward the end of the hike. Next, you will be driven to La Fortuna Waterfall. Hike down a steep series of steps to the base of the waterfall and take a dip in the cool refreshing river after an exciting day of exploration! Overnight Amor Arenal.
Day 5
Pure Nature Safari Float
Set out on a peaceful float down the Frio River. With no boat motor, animals like sloths, monkeys, iguanas, turtles, caimans, and a variety of bird species can be seen more easily. A professional naturalist will guide you along pointing out the unique features and relationships of the jungle ecosystem. After the float, enjoy homemade snacks at a local Costa Rican family farm and practice your Spanish! Overnight Amor Arenal.
Day 6
Transfer to Manuel Antonio / Quepos
Today, you will be met and driven approximately 4 1/2 hours to Gaia Hotel & Reserve in the Manuel Antonio / Quepos region. The 5-star Gaia Hotel is a member of "Small Luxury Hotels of the World." This modern, tropical hideaway is set within an expansive rainforest reserve overlooking the lush Pacific coast.
Day 7
Tocori Waterfalls Horseback Tour
Discover exotic Costa Rica flora and fauna as you ride along through the private co reserve at Tocori, minutes from Manuel Antonio. After horseback riding through the rainforest, your guides will lead you on a nature walk where you can taste, touch, and smell the jungle first-hand. Then, take a refreshing dip in a nearby waterfall at Tocori. Enjoy fresh fruits and tropical drinks as you relax and cool off in the waterfalls. Head back to the private ranch for homemade Costa Rican Casado, a typical dish or terrific BBQ. Before heading back to your hotel, explore the private herb garden where you can discover indigenous Costa Rican plants. Overnight Gaia Hotel & Reserve.
Day 8
Manuel Antonio National Park Hike
Today, explore Costa Rica's celebrated Manuel Antonio National Park. Rich in biodiversity, the Manuel Antonio rainforest is home to over 109 mammal species and over 184 bird species. A naturalist guide will lead you along the main trail of the park pointing out the features and wildlife that make this little national park so unique. You will undoubtedly see monkeys, but be on the lookout for some of the shyer animals of the park such as sloths and coatimundis. Don't forget to wear a swimsuit under your hiking gear to cool off on the white-sand beach of Manuel Antonio! Overnight Gaia Hotel & Reserve.
Day 9
Depart from San Jose, Costa Rica
Today, you will be met and driven approximately 3 hours to the San Jose international airport for your return flight home.

Holiday season supplements apply for Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day, and Easter travel dates. Green season specials and/or lower rates may apply for May to November travel dates.

All itineraries are land only and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
