Arrive Los Angeles Cloud Forest, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica transfer 1 1/2 hours to the Los Angeles Cloud Forest near San Ramon. This high-elevation forest is a misty dreamlike setting that is great for hiking and wildlife observation. Arrive at the Hotel Villa Blanca for overnight located on a Private Biological Reserve.
Arenal Volcano Tour
This morning you will depart from Villa Blanca for travel into the San Carlos plains. Along the way, your guide will explain the agricultural background of the area. At the town of La Fortuna, you'll learn about the impact of tourism on the area before taking a nature walk to observe the volcano. Prior to the drive back to Villa Blanca we will stop at a local restaurant for a delicious campesino style lunch. Overnight Hotel Villa Blanca.
Transfer to Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula
This morning you will transfer to the domestic airport in San Jose, for the short flight to Drake Bay, on the remote Osa Peninsula. Arrive at Aguila de Osa Inn for overnight. Offering comfort with a hint of elegance, the lodge is situated on a bluff and the rooms have mesh windows to encourage a breeze.
Corcovado National Park Tour
Take a boat ride this morning to Corcovado National Park, which protects over 100,000 acres. You'll be led through the dense jungle to see butterflies, monkeys, sloths, and more. Have a refreshing swim in a waterfall before the return to Aguila de Osa Inn for overnight.
Caño Island Tour
Thanks to the presence of big fish like the bull and white tip sharks, Cano Island is one of the most popular places in the country for snorkeling or scuba diving. Overnight Aguila de Osa Inn. (Certified divers can substitute a full day Scuba diving tour at additional cost)
Transfer to Manuel Antonio / Quepos
This morning boat and ground transfer to Sierpe where you will be met and transferred approximately 1 1/2 hours to the Manuel Antonio / Quepos area on the Central Pacific coast. Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel Si Como No for overnight. Known for its environmentalism and barefoot luxury, Si Como No is perfect for guests of all ages. Remainder of the afternoon is free to explore.
Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
This morning transfer to Quepos Airport for the scenic flight back to San Jose where you will connect to your afternoon international flight home.
