Upon your morning or afternoon arrival into Liberia, Costa Rica, you will meet your driver for transfer by ground approximately 3 hours to the Arenal Volcano area. Although the volcano is currently in a resting phase, the region offers exciting opportunities.

Transfer to Senda Hotel, Monteverde Cloud Forest
This morning, embark on a scenic Lake Crossing from Arenal to Monteverde. Your journey begins with a ground transfer to the boat launch at Arenal Dam, where you’ll board a comfortable pontoon boat for a picturesque 45-minute ride across Lake Arenal to the dock at Rio Chiquito. Upon arrival, continue with a ground transfer of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to the Monteverde Cloud Forest region. Please note that travel time may be longer during the rainy season.
