Arrive at The Springs Resort & Spa near Arenal Volcano. Explore the variety of on-site cold and hot springs while enjoying views of Arenal Volcano. Amenities of the resort include four unique dining experiences, a full-service spa, and the Club Rio Outdoor Center where activities like kayaking, horseback riding, tubing, and wildlife sanctuary tour can be experienced right on property for an additional charge.
Day 2
Private Hanging Bridges Hike & La Fortuna Waterfall Tour
The Arenal Hanging Bridges hike brings you through a private nature reserve with over 1500 acres of tropical rainforest. The hike consists of 8 fixed bridges and 6 hanging bridges built to provide a secure but thrilling vantage point from which to observe the rainforest canopy.
After the Hanging Bridges, you will enjoy lunch. Then, head to the La Fortuna Waterfall. Enjoy the cascade from the observation point high above before walking down about 300 meters to the base of the waterfall on a steep, paved pathway. Once at the bottom, you will have the opportunity to take photos and even take a dip in the chilly waters. Swimming is allowed in the river, but not near the waterfall. Overnight The Springs Resort & Spa.
Day 3
Arenal Sky Tram & Trek Canopy Zipline
Boar the Sky Tram, a cable car that will bring you up through the forest canopy to a wide observation platform, where you can take in panoramic views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. From here, take off on the Sky Trek zipline, a series of 8 cross-sectional cables totaling 4.5 miles with a maximum height of 660 feet. Overnight The Springs Resort & Spa.
Day 4
PRIVATE Afternoon Arenal Sloth Tour
The sweet smiling face of the Costa Rican sloth is rapidly becoming the iconic symbol of the country's amazing rainforest wildlife. The Arenal area is well known for its diverse wildlife, including the 2 different sloth species: two-toed sloth and three-toed sloth. You’ll also have the chance to see toucans and the blue jean dart frog. On the search for these three beautiful animals, your guide will drive you around La Fortuna's beautiful spotting areas for more wildlife. Birds, iguanas, and monkeys are among the animals that you might encounter. Overnight The Springs Resort & Spa.
