Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica transfer by ground for approximately 3 hours to Lost Iguana Resort in the Arenal Volcano / La Fortuna region. Today, you will transfer by ground and boat across Lake Arenal to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. First you will transfer by ground to the boat launch at the Arenal Dam. Then, board a comfortable pontoon boat for a 45-minute ride to the dock at Rio Chiquito. Upon arrival, transfer by ground approximately 1.5-2 hours to the Monteverde Cloud Forest.
