Our 7-night New Year’s Rainforest Beach Holiday combines Manuel Antonio National Park and the Osa Peninsula, two of the most beloved and wildlife-rich destinations in Costa Rica!

DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1
Transfer to Arenas del Mar Beach & Nature Resort, Manuel Antonio
Upon your morning or afternoon arrival in San Jose, meet your driver for transfer by ground approximately 3 hours to the Manuel Antonio / Quepos area on the Central Pacific Coast. Arrive at Arenas del Mar Beach & Nature Resort. The resort is characterized by its magnificent beach and nature encounters, coupled with exceptional service and a strong commitment to sustainability. Nestled within 11 acres of forest, it offers exclusive nature trails and access to two pristine beaches, all while overlooking the Manuel Antonio National Park (closed on Tuesdays).

Manuel Antonio Free Day
Walk down to the beach just steps from the hotel or unwind beside the pool. Overnight Arenas del Mar.
Day 3
Manuel Antonio Free Day
Book a tour of the famous Manuel Antonio National Park to see everyone's beloved little national park for yourself. Overnight Areas del Mar.
Day 4
Manuel Antonio Free Day
Add-on tours in the Manuel Antonio area, relax by the beach, or book a space treatment! Overnight Arenas del Mar!
Day 5
Transfer to Botanika Lodge, Osa Peninsula
Today you wil be met and driven approximately 3 1/2 hours to Botanika Osa Peninsula, an eco resort surrounded by unspoiled rainforest. Comfortable and chic accommodations, a full-service spa, Cahui Beach Club, the adjacent Bay Marina, and an outdoor lagoon-style pool with two hot tubs and cabanas are highlights of your stay. The property offers two impressive restaurants: Tierra a la Mesa and Driza Bar & Grill, and a multitude of activities to book while staying at the property.
Day 6
Snorkel Golfo Dulce
With its eighty-degree waters, snorkeling in the Golfo Dulce offers endless intrigue. Throughout this multi-dive expedition, you'll explore diverse marine ecosystems, from brain-coral reefs to rocky pinnacles, where a vibrant assortment of reef denizens like Parrot, Angel, and Butterfly Fish thrive. Your safety and insights are ensured by our proficient guides and captains as you take the plunge into this underwater world. All necessary equipment is included. It's worth noting that this tour is most favorable during low tide and reaches its peak during the months from December to May. Overnight Botanika Osa Peninsula.
Day 7
Sloth Tour
Meet the sloth, the most popular mammal in Costa Rica! Nestled on a magnificent 30-acre property teeming with gardens and lush forest, owned by the Valverde Quiros family, you'll embark on a guided stroll in search of sloths. This approximately 3-hour tour offers a high likelihood of spotting these gentle creatures. Alongside discovering the world of sloths, you'll gain insights into an array of tropical plants and fruit trees and savor authentic local snacks, all in the company of this warm and hospitable family. Day 8
Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
This morning you will take a short domestic flight to San Jose. Upon arrival, connect to the San Jose international airport for your afternoon departure.

Pricing is valid through the date listed for each itinerary (all pricing is subject to change until booked and confirmed). Holiday season supplements apply for Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day, and Easter travel dates. Green season specials and/or lower rates may apply for May to November travel dates.

All itineraries are land only and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
