Dec 19: Transfer to Amor Arenal, Arenal Volcano
Today you will be picked up and driven approximately 3 hours to Arenal Volcano for overnight at Amor Arenal, a five-star rainforest lodge at the foothills of the volcano. Enjoy organic food, thermal spring pools, and a full-service spa.
Dec 20: Hanging Bridges Hike
Discover a private reserve home to a variety of flora and fauna. Explore the forest from hanging bridges overlooking the canopy and along lush trails with beautiful views of Arenal Volcano. There are eight fixed and six hanging bridges built with the latest techniques. Overnight Amor Arenal.
Dec 21: Safari Float
Peacefully float down the Frio River on a boat with no motor while looking for sloths, monkeys, turtles, caimans, iguanas, and numerous bird species. A professional naturalist guide will point out the unique features of this ecosystem. After your float, enjoy homemade snacks at a Costa Rican family farm. Overnight Amor Arenal.
Dec 22: Canyoning & Ziplining
Begin your adventure with a 20-minute gondola right up to the observation deck. Then set off on zip lines ranging in height from 600 to 2,600 feet with unforgettable views of Arenal Volcano, Lake Arenal, and the rainforest canopy below. Next, enjoy lunch before your canyoning adventure. You will then be driven into the mountains to a ranch house where you will gear up with your guide and set off! Rappel down waterfalls,a canyon wall, a Monkey Drop (zipline and rappel), and finally, do a bit of rock climbing all in a spectacularly picturesque canyon. Overnight Amor Arenal.
Dec 23: Transfer to Manuel Antonio with Tarcoles River Cruise en Route
The Tarcoles River, located between Arenal and Manuel Antonio, has one of the greatest populations of crocodiles in the world! The crocodiles are massive - some reach up to seven meters long! On your boat tour, you'll see them swimming in the river and sunbathing on river banks. Following the river cruise, enjoy lunch before continuing on to Manuel Antonio / Quepos on the Central Pacific Coast.

Dec 24: Manuel Antonio National Park
Discover Costa Rica's favorite little national park, Manuel Antonio, and three of the country's most beautiful beaches bordered by dense tropical rainforest and hiking trails abundant with wildlife. A professional naturalist guide will lead you through the park pointing out some of the park's 109 animal species and 184 bird species. Today you will be met and driven approximately 3 hours to San Jose international airport for your return flight home.
