Day 1
Arrive Tamarindo, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in Liberia, Costa Rica you will be met and transferred approximately 1 hour to Tamarindo for overnight at Hotel Capitan Suizo. This beachfront boutique hotel is routinely considered one of Costa Rica's best. The nearby town of Tamarindo is a burgeoning hotspot for seaside escapes - featuring a variety of bars, restaurants, shops, and more. Tamarindo Bay is ideal for any kind of water activities, thanks to the tranquil current.
Day 2
Tamarindo Mangrove Tour by Boat
Cruise through the Tamarindo Estuaries on a bot tour lead by a naturalist guide. Observe the unique flora and fauna of the ecosystem looking for wildlife like crocodiles, iguanas, birds, monkeys, and more. Overnight Hotel Capitan Suizo.
Day 3
Arenal & Tabacon Tour
Your visit to Costa Rica would not be complete without visiting Arenal Volcano and its rainforest hot springs. Today, you'll be led on a hike in Arenal Volcano National Park in which you will walk along the lava flow and look out over Lake Arenal. Then, take lunch at a hot springs restaurant before relaxing in volcano-fed hot springs in the steamy jungle. On your return to the hotel, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Day 4
Guanacaste Waterfall Tour
Today, you will visit three waterfalls. First, visit Llanos de Cortes Waterfall, which drops into a pond on a sandy white beach - perfect for sunbathing and swimming! Next, explore La Vieja Waterfall, a 20-meter fall - fantastic for photo-ops. Finally, discover La Perla Waterfall, where you can swim, sunbathe, and relax in the sand. Enjoy lunch before returning to Hotel Capitan Suizo for overnight.
Day 5
Diamante Eco Adventure & Animal Sanctuary
Today, you will be picked up at your hotel and driven to Diamante Eco Adventure Park. Your adventure includes zipline, Superman, quick jump, Tarzan swing, botanical garden, kayak, stand up paddleboard, snorkeling, hiking trails, and Hammock Beach. You will also have time to interact with animals at the Diamante Animal Sanctuary and attend a feeding. The rescue animals of the sanctuary include monkeys, sloths, pumas, jaguars, toucans, and more. Day 6
Snorkeling Tour to Catalinas
Take a boat ride to Catalina Island, a rock formation in the Pacific Ocean. You'll have the opportunity to snorkel at two different locations allowing you to see a variety of marine life such as octopus, turtles, seahorses, moray eels, angelfish, eagle rays, white tip reef sharks, and more. Day 7
Tamarindo Free Day
Capitan Suizo offers a variety of activities for travelers. Guests can rent boogie boards, kayaks, and surfboards. The beach directly in front of Capitan Suizo is perfect for beginning surfers. Overnight Hotel Capitan Suizo.
Day 8
Depart Liberia, Costa Rica
Today you will be met and transferred by ground to the Liberia International Airport for your return flight home.

All itineraries are land only and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
