DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1
Arrive Conchal Beach, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in Liberia, Costa Rica you will be met and transferred approximately 1 hour to Conchal Beach for overnight at The W at Reserva Conchal. The W hotel is located between beautiful Pacific beaches and mangroves within the Reserva Conchal resort complex with a multitude of dining options for travelers to explore.
Day 2
Tamarindo Mangrove Tour by Boat
Cruise through the Tamarindo Estuaries on a bot tour lead by a naturalist guide. Observe the unique flora and fauna of the ecosystem looking for wildlife like crocodiles, iguanas, birds, monkeys, and more. Overnight The W at Reserva Conchal.
Day 3
Arenal Volcano & Tabacon Hot Spring Tour
Your visit to Costa Rica would not be complete without visiting Arenal Volcano and its rainforest hot springs. Today, you'll be led on a hike in Arenal Volcano National Park in which you will walk along the lava flow and look out over Lake Arenal. Then, take lunch at a hot springs restaurant before relaxing in volcano-fed hot springs in the steamy jungle. On your return to the hotel, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Day 4
Rincón de la Vieja Waterfalls Hike
Begin your adventure with a one-hour scenic hike to Victoria Waterfall where you'll find a dramatic 35-meter drop to the Rio Negro river. Enjoy the unique vegetation of the canyon and swim in the crystal clear water at the base of the waterfall. Continue on down the path while enjoying great views of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, volcanic activity, and wildlife. More than 300 bird species live in the park as well as other animals like peccaries, armadillos, coatis, iguanas, and monkeys. Take in views of the twin waterfalls of Las Chorreras which fall into a mineral pool of brilliant blue color. A canyon of volcanic rock surrounds the falls and the pool - perfect for a rejuvenating swim! Next, visit La Oropendola Waterfall which drops 25 meters into a turquoise pool in the lush canyon on the White River. Finally, discover Rio Negro Waterfall, created from a source of thermal water. Day 5
Diamante Eco Adventure & Animal Sanctuary
Today, you will be picked up at your hotel and driven to Diamante Eco Adventure Park. Your adventure includes zipline, Superman, quick jump, Tarzan swing, botanical garden, kayak, stand up paddleboard, snorkeling, hiking trails, and Hammock Beach. You will also have time to interact with animals at the Diamante Animal Sanctuary and attend a feeding. The rescue animals of the sanctuary include monkeys, sloths, pumas, jaguars, toucans, and more. Overnight The W at Reserva Conchal.
Day 6
Snorkeling Tour to Catalinas
Take a boat ride to Catalina Island, a rock formation in the Pacific Ocean. You'll have the opportunity to snorkel at two different locations allowing you to see a variety of marine life such as octopus, turtles, seahorses, moray eels, angelfish, eagle rays, white tip reef sharks, and more. Overnight The W at Reserva Conchal.
Day 7
Conchal Beach Free Day
Enjoy your last day in paradise at Conchal Beach or play poolside. Overnight The W at Reserva Conchal.
Day 8
Depart Liberia, Costa Rica
Today you will be met and transferred by ground to the Liberia International Airport for your return flight home.

Holiday season supplements apply for Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day, and Easter travel dates. Green season specials and/or lower rates may apply for May to November travel dates.

All itineraries are land only and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
