Today you will head north towards Buena Vista. From there, you will board a small canoe that will bring you to Gatun River and through a dense jungle until you arrive at the Embera Quera indigenous community. The people of the Embera tribe will welcome you to the pier and show you how they live today, with the constant push between modernity and history. The village's chief will give you a brief explication on the history of the tribe, its traditions, cultures, beliefs, and handicrafts. A traditional lunch of fish and plantains prepared by the Embera women will be served. In the afternoon you'll have the chance to see a traditional dance and shop for local handicrafts.
