DAILY ITINERARY
Day 1
Transfer to The Retreat, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica transfer by ground approximately 45 minutes to Atenas in the Alajuela province for overnight at The Retreat, an 11-room luxury boutique hotel with wellness at the center of the guest experience.
Day 2
The Retreat Free Day
This morning, take your daily hatha yoga class followed by breakfast and fresh fruit. Then, take a mid-morning wellness workshop. After lunch, book your 30-minute healing massage, take an afternoon yoga class, and relax lazily by the pool. After a delicious healthy dinner, enjoy Bocas and smoothies at sunset. Day 3
The Retreat Free Day
Today, do it all again. In the afternoon, consider an afternoon hike to the Forest Municipal to take in the beautiful setting. Overnight The Retreat.
Day 4
Transfer to Perez Zeledon, Southern Mountains
Today, you will be met and transferred approximately 4 hours to Perez Zeledon in the foothills of the Talamanca Mountain Range for overnight at Hacienda AltaGracia, a luxury boutique hotel and member of the Auberge Resort collection.
Day 5
Perez Zeledon Free Day
Book a spa treatment. AltaGracia is home to Central America's largest spa, the Auberge Spa. After lunch at one of the gourmet restaurants on property, relax at the pool with 360-degree panoramic views of the Talamanca Mountain Range and foothills. Overnight Hacienda AltaGracia.
Day 6
Perez Zeledon Free Day
Take advantage of some of the activities available from the resort such as whale watching, birdwatching, yoga, biking, ultra-light flight tours, zipling, and rafting. Visits to the nearby Manuel Antonio National Park and Chirripo National Park are also available from the property. Overnight Hacienda AltaGracia.
Day 7
Perez Zeledon Free Day
One of the main highlights of AltaGracia is horseback riding. In the past, the hacienda served as a full functioning hacienda with stables. Today, 28 stables, breed horses, a saddle room, and riding ring are still accessible to guests of all skill levels at AltaGracia. Overnight Hacienda AltaGracia.
Day 8
Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
This morning, you will be met and transferred by ground approximately 4.5 hours to the San Jose International Airport for your return flight home.
