In Costa Rica, the opportunity for discovery is endless. This 8-night whirlwind of exploration will bring you to Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Doka Coffee Plantation, Corcovado National Park, and Manuel Antonio National Park. At La Paz Waterfall Gardens, you’ll see the beauty of Costa Rica’s plant life, numberless hummingbirds, and a butterfly garden before heading the Doka Coffee Plantation, which has been voted the best coffee in the region. Next, head to Manuel Antonio National Park to discover rainforest beaches, wildlife,  and three beautiful beaches. End your vacation in the south at Drake Bay on the Osa Peninsula. Visit Corcovado National Park which covers over 100,000 acres of rainforest and contains many of the world’s endangered species. Finally, discover the diverse marine life in the region on a guided snorkeling excursion to Cano Island Reserve.


Day 1
Arrive San Jose, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica you will bet met and transferred to Hotel Grano de Oro for overnight. Near the city's main thoroughfare, this converted Victorian mansion has all the comforts of a private home. Be sure to reserve dinner in the hotel restaurant for a gourmet meal you won't soon forget.
Day 2
Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, & Coffee Plantation Tour
Your action-packed day begins at the authentic Doka Coffee Plantation. Discover the secrets of coffee production, do a tasting, and have breakfast. Then off to the Poas Volcano to see the mesmerizing sulfur fumaroles and the water-filled crater. Finally, visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens for lunch and a hike to the waterfall. But don't stop there! The Gardens include an aviary, hummingbird garden, frog exhibit, butterfly garden, and more! Overnight at the Hotel Grano de Oro.
Day 3
Transfer to Manuel Antonio / Quepos
Today you will be met and driven approximately 3 hours to Hotel Si Como No for overnight. This exemplary combination of barefoot luxury and environmentalism offers the Serenity Spa, Regalame Art Gallery, Gift Shop and Internet Cafe, Nature Farm, and Butterfly Garden. Hotel Si Como No is set on a hillside so some stair climbing and mild “hiking” may be a part of your stay.
Day 4
Manuel Antonio Free Day
Explore the beaches of Manuel Antonio. Take the complimentary shuttle down to the beach for some fun in the sun. In the evening, book a jungle night walk that the kids will love through tropical aquatic gardens. Overnight Hotel Si Como No.
Day 5
Manuel Antonio Free Day
Free day to explore at your leisure or add-in more Manuel Antonio tours. Overnight Hotel Si Como No.
Day 6
Transfer to Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula
This morning you will transfer by boat from Manuel Antonio to the Sierpe Boat Dock, where you will be picked up and taken by boat once more to Drake Bay on the remote Osa Peninsula. Arrive at Copa de Arbol Beach & Rainforest Resort for overnight. Please have on shoes that are easily removable, or can get wet, as you will exit the boat into knee-deep water and will get wet. Copa de Arbol is a luxurious yet eco-conscious paradise. You’ll be close enough to the beach to let the waves lull you to sleep.
Day 7
Corcovado National Park Hike
Take a guided tour of Corcovado National Park, where you'll venture into the dense jungle. Cano Island is another top tour and considered by many to be one of the best spots in Costa Rica for scuba diving and snorkeling. The humpback whales that pass through the area between December and April are a huge draw, as are the migrating manta rays from February to June. Overnight Copa de Arbol Beach and Rainforest Resort.
Day 8
Cano Island Reserve Snorkel
Today, visit Cano Island Biological Reserve, a UNESCO world heritage site abundant with marine life such as hammerhead sharks, manta rays, humpback whales, and a multitude of other colorful sea creatures. The reserve is also said to have been a Pre-Columbian cemetery and a hideaway for pirates. Overnight Copa de Arbol Beach and Rainforest Resort.
Day 9
Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
This morning transfer to the Drake Bay domestic airport for a flight to San Jose to connect with your afternoon international flight home.
