DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1
Transfer to Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in Liberia, Costa Rica you will pick-up your 4x4 rental car and drive approximately 2.5 hours to Olas Verdes Hotel On the Nicoya Peninsula. Olas Verdes is a small deluxe boutique hotel in Nosara and the first LEED-certified surf hotel in the world.
Day 2
Nicoya Peninsula Free Day
Get out and explore the area! Olas Verdes is just a short watch to the beach and there are many more remote beaches to explore in the surrounding area. Overnight Olas Verdes Hotel.
Day 3
Nicoya Peninsula Free Day
Take a yoga class or a surf lesson today! In the evening, watch the sun slip behind the coast and then, the starry night sky from Guiones Beach. Overnight Olas Verdes Hotel.
Day 4
Transfer to Tamarindo Beach, Guanacaste
Today, you will drive approximately 2 hours to Tamarindo Beach in Guanacaste for overnight at Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort. Tamarindo Diria is one of the only hotels in Tamarindo conveniently situated on the shoreline giving guests direct access to beach activities and sunsets.
Day 5
Rio Perdido Adventure: Hiking, Hot Springs, Zip-line & Canyoning
You'll be picked up early this morning for a beautiful drive through Guanacaste. Start your adventure at Rio Perdido with a guided hike, where you'll have the opportunity to swim in the river and explore multiple thermal springs with temperatures ranging between 90 and 115 degrees Fahrenheit. After visiting the springs, enjoy lunch at the restaurant. Relax in the thermal pools and the private swim-up bar. Discover the hanging bridge and panoramic view of the forest and volcanic range. Finally, explore Rio Blanco Canyon, an outdoor adventure center with a Tarzan swing, a challenge bridge, 4 via ferrates, 5 zip lines, and more. Overnight Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort.
Day 6
Tenorio Rafting
Today, meet at Rincon Corobici Restaurant for Tenorio River Rafting. From there, you will be driven approximately 30 minutes to the river put-in. You'll listen to a safety talk while being fitted for life jackets, helmets, and paddles. Then, begin your 3-hour white water rafting adventure, which includes a 12 ft class V drop. Have a snack on the riverbank midway through the tour. As the day goes on, be on the lookout for monkeys, iguanas, and the bird species that live along the riverbank. End the tour at Rincon Corobici Restaurant for lunch. Overnight Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort.
Day 7
Tamarindo Free Day
Include Guanacaste Tours. This idyllic beachfront hotel is located in the lively town of Tamarindo, one of the most popular destinations in the Guanacaste province. Take advantage of the variety of restaurants available in the area and explore the city. Overnight Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort.
Day 8
Depart Liberia, Costa Rica
Today, you will drive approximately 1 hour to the Liberia international airport to drop off your rental car before your return flight home.

Pricing is valid through the date listed for each itinerary (all pricing is subject to change until booked and confirmed). Holiday season supplements apply for Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day, and Easter travel dates. Green season specials and/or lower rates may apply for May to November travel dates.

All itineraries are land only and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
