Farm to Table Tour
Discover the secrets of an organic, sustainable farm on this half-day tour outside the town of La Fortuna. Upon arrival at the farm, you will discuss the lunch menu and ingredients over coffee "chorreado" and fresh fruit. Then, head out to the farm to pick your local produce. Bring everything back to the farmhouse for cleaning before heading back out to the farm. Explore the greenhouse where you will learn about seedings, drying seeds, and peppercorns. Be on the lookout for a family of sloths that live in the trees and bushes around the farm. Finally, head back to the farmhouse to enjoy the fruits of the day's labor. AM La Fortuna Waterfall Hike & Chocolate Tour; PM Five Course Wine Pairing Dinner
Experience two travelers' favorites tours! First, a steep 20-minute hike will bring you to the iconic La Fortuna Waterfall - over 200 feet tall! The clear water at the base is a refreshing place to swim after the hike. This is a great photo-op as well. Bring dry clothes to change into after the swim, and head over to the chocolate plantation. This hands-on tour shows you the entire process of making chocolate, including organic treats at the end!
