Today you will be met and transferred about 2 hours to the Nosara area on the Nicoya Peninsula.

Arrive at Tierra Magnifica overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the coast of Playa Guiones. Nestled on the hilltop with stunning views of the mountains, forest, and valleys from every room, the resort features an open-air bar lounge, al-fresco dining, and a fire circle. Down here the days are sunny and serene and schedules are determined by the sun, surf, and conversations with the chef.

Yoga Class

AM Transfer to Isla Chiquita, Nicoya Peninsula / PM Bioluminescence & Marine Tour

Today, you will be met and driven approximately 3 hours to Isla Chiquita Glamping Resort, a brand-new luxury property in the Gulf of Nicoya. Enjoy seaside dining and breezy island living. Please note the resort does not have a swimming pool or A/C and instead relies on the ocean and island breezes to keep cool.

This evening, embark on the Nightscapes Bioluminescence and Marine Life Tour—an evening boat adventure to explore the area’s nocturnal marvels. Witness shimmering rock formations and encounter nocturnal wildlife as you search for the mesmerizing glow of bioluminescence*, a natural phenomenon that makes the water sparkle. Transfer to Nantipa Lodge, Nicoya Peninsula

Today you will take a short boat transfer to Paquera. Here you will meet your driver for transfer by ground about 1.5 hours to Santa Teresa, a beloved beach town ideal for surfers and wellness enthusiasts on the southern Nicoya Peninsula. Arrive at Nantipa Resort for overnight. This off-the-beaten-path, laid-back resort is barefoot luxury at its finest.

Montezuma Canopy Tour

The Montezuma Waterfall Canopy Tour consists of 9 cables and 13 platforms suspended high about the forest floor. The tour allows you the opportunity to see plants and animals unique to the area like the howler monkey, white-faced monkey, parrots, iguanas, and much more. This adventure includes the Montezuma Waterfalls, where you can go for a swim in the pools carved out by the cascading water. After the tour, return to Nantipa Resort for overnight.

Depart San Jose, Costa Rica

This morning, transfer 45 minutes to the local airstrip in Tambor. Check-in for a short flight (about 40 minutes) to San Jose. Upon arrival, meet your driver for transfer to the international terminal for your departure.
