DAILY ITINERARY
Day 1
Transfer to Hotel Arenal Manoa, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in Liberia, Costa Rica you will transfer by ground for approximately 3 hours to Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs in the Arenal Volcano region. Enjoy fantastic views of Arenal Volcano throughout the property and unwind after a day of adventuring in the onsite thermal pools.
Day 2
Private Penas Blancas River Safari Float
Take a peaceful journey down the Peñas Blancas River as you paddle silently through the surrounding rainforest. Watch for monkeys, sloths, crocodiles, and a variety of tropical birds along the riverbanks, with a bilingual guide offering fascinating insights about the flora and fauna. This tranquil adventure lets you fully appreciate the natural wonders of the area without the noise of a motor. Overnight at Hotel Arenal Manoa.
Day 3
Arenal Sky Tram & Trek Zipline
Ascend the Sky Tram for breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal on your way up to the zipline adventure. At the top, an observation platform awaits, where you'll get a quick safety briefing before launching into the canopy. The Sky Trek features 7 ziplines, stretching between 30 and 750 meters in length and soaring 20 to 200 meters above the ground. Day 4
AM Private Slothies & Birds Tour // Transfer to Tamarindo Beach, Guancaste
Sloths are one of the symbolic animals of Costa Rica. The tender creatures always appear to be smiling. Embark on a short hike through the secondary forest looking for them! It is likely that you will spot one of these mammals, even as they try to blend in with the flora. Discover the many fabulous plants along the way. You may even spot more critters than just sloths - the trail is home to many species of local tropical birds.
After your tour, meet your driver for a 3 ½-hour transfer to Tamarindo on the Northern Pacific Coast.
Arrive at the Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort for an overnight stay. This is the only hotel directly on the white sands of Tamarindo Beach and is surrounded by beautifully maintained tropical gardens. Tamarindo Diria is the perfect spot to experience Costa Rica’s unique blend of vibrant beach culture and thrilling adventure opportunities, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and exploration alike.
Day 5
Tamarindo Beach Free Day
A variety of activities can be experienced for all age groups from the hotel. Surfing, water sports, golf, and land excursions are just a few of the activities available. Add on Guanacaste Tours or relax on Tamarindo Beach. Overnight Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort.
Day 6
Afternoon Catamaran Sailing Tour
This afternoon's catamaran tour begins from the Flamingo Marina aboard a luxury catamaran. The crew will navigate about 5 miles to some of the most isolated beautiful beaches and snorkeling locations in Costa Rica. Your snorkeling guide will point out marine life like dolphins, whales (in season), pufferfish, sea turtles, and more. Stop in a calm bay, drop anchor, and start snorkeling. In the meantime, the onboard chef will cook up a delicious buffet. Enjoy a cold tropical drink surrounded by incredible natural scenery as the catamaran catches the sunset. Day 7
Tamarindo Beach Free Day
Enjoy the vibrant shores of Tamarindo beach, book a surf lesson, lounge by the pool, book an inland excursion, or explore the area! Add spa treatments, taxi services, and additional tours with the help of your hotel concierge. Overnight Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort.
Day 8
Depart Liberia, Costa Rica
Today you will bet met and transferred by ground approximately 1 hour to the Liberia international airport for your return flight home.
