Day 1
Arrive San Jose, Costa Rica
Upon your midday arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica transfer to Hotel Buena Vista. Just minutes from the airport and with views of the Poas, Barva, and Irazu Volcanos, Hotel Buena Vista is the perfect first stop for a Costa Rican adventure. Take a walk down their nature trails, check the gift shop for anything you may have forgot, and enjoy the excellent restaurant and bar.
Day 2
Transfer to Playa Uvita, Costa Ballena
This morning a 4x4 rental vehicle will be delivered to the hotel. Then drive about 4 - 5 hours to the Oxygen Jungle Villas located on a stunning mountainside overlooking the Pacific. This small-scale Balinese style resort hotel guarantees personalized service, and they allow a maximum of 24 guests (adults only) at a time. The villas are only minutes from stunning beaches and are located between Costa Rica's most beautiful National Parks.
Day 3
Playa Uvita Free Day
At Oxygen Jungle Villas, the spa is not to be missed! All the oils and ingredients used in any spa service are raw, local, and organic. Day 5
Transfer to the Central Pacific Coast
This morning, drive about 1 1/2 hours to Alma del Pacifico Hotel. This is the ultimate seaside escape! The tropical flora, herb, and vegetable gardens attract a myriad of animal life, including the endangered Scarlet Macaw as well as colorful butterflies and inquisitive iguanas.
Day 6
Central Pacific Coast Free Day
Excitement-seekers should visit the nearby town of Jaco. World-renowned for its waves, both experienced and beginner surfers will delight in the beach. In the opposite direction, travelers will find the Manuel Antonio National Park, one of Costa Rica's most intensely diverse parks. A visit is well worth it - just don't forget a swimsuit! Manuel Antonio has three of the country's most beautiful white sand beaches. Overnight Alma del Pacifico.
