Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Nayara Gardens Resort, Arenal Volcano
Upon your morning or afternoon arrival in San Jose, meet your driver for a private 3-hour ground transfer to the Arenal Volcano region. While the volcano is currently dormant, the area offers a variety of exciting activities. Check-in at Nayara Gardens, a world-renowned boutique hotel surrounded by lush rainforest. Each casita and villa is nestled within tropical vegetation for ultimate seclusion. The property features five diverse dining options, an international wine bar, a rainforest spa, and daily yoga sessions, making it a tranquil and luxurious retreat.
Day 2
Private Arenal Hanging Bridges Hike
Hike through the Arenal Hanging Bridges private nature reserve with over 1500 acres of rainforest, animals, and vegetation. Traverse eight fixed and six hanging bridges with incredible vantage points out over the rainforest canopy – some with views of Arenal Volcano. Overnight Nayara Gardens Resort.
Day 3
Arenal Free Day
Explore the volcano region or relax on the property. Enjoy a soak in your own private plunge pool, fed by natural mineral hot springs. Schedule a wellness treatment at the spa, join a yoga class, or add additional tours in the Arenal area. Overnight Nayara Gardens Resort.
Day 4
Private Rio Celeste Waterfall Tour
You will be picked up this morning for a two-hour drive to the Tenorio Volcano region. From the park entrance, begin a challenging hike through the forest. Visit the magnificent waterfall and the place where the river ends its light blue coloration. Enjoy the thermal springs (swimming in the dry season only). The Rio Celeste River is one of the most wonderful places to see flora and fauna in Costa Rica and among the best hikes! Overnight Origins Luxury Lodge.
Day 5
Upala Free Day
Indulge in meals prepared by a Michelin-star chef, relax in a wood-fired terrace bathtub, and choose among a variety of daily complimentary activities. Discover the turquoise waters of Rio Celeste. Take a yoga or cooking class, explore the grounds on horseback, and learn about the healing properties of the on-site Melipone bees’ honey. Go fishing in the lagoon or rappel in a nearby cavern. Day 6
Transfer to Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas, Guanacaste
Today you will be met and driven approximately 3 hours to Casa Chameleon Las Catalinas in Guanacaste for overnight. This adults-only luxury boutique resort showcases panoramic ocean views, a contemporary minimalist design, and an infinity pool. Located near some of the best Guanacaste beaches, Las Catalinas offers access to the best water adventures and local beach culture in the area.
Day 7
Las Catalinas Free Day
Make it a beach day! Relax by the pool, explore the nearby beaches, or add tours with the help of your hotel concierge. Overnight Casa Chameleon Las Catalinas.
Day 8
Las Catalinas Free Day

Day 9
Depart Liberia, Costa Rica
Today you will be met at your hotel and driven approximately 1 hour to the Liberia International Airport for your return flight home.
