Cahuita National Park Snorkeling

Cahuita National Park has the largest system of coral reefs in Costa Rica, including six species of coral and a range of colorful tropical fish and occasionally the harmless reef shark or stingray. The beach has a horseshoe shape with the entrance of the park at one end and the beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end. Your adventure begins with a scenic 20-minute boat ride for two snorkel sessions. After snorkeling, boat to the beach to enjoy fruit and snacks followed by a one-hour guided hike in the coastal forest. Raft Pacuare River & Transfer to Amor Arenal, Arenal Volcano

Depart for transfer by ground (with a stop for breakfast) to the river put-in point on the Pacuare River. Your river guides will help load your gear. Then, you’ll paddle down the Pacuare Gorge, rafting into the heart of the rainforest. Here, you’ll receive a safety briefing and an introduction to paddling basics before setting off on your river adventure. Paddle 14 miles into the heart of one of Costa Rica’s most breathtaking rainforests, passing through lush jungle gorges, cascading waterfalls, tranquil pools, and exhilarating rapids. After rafting, return to the operations center to dry off, change, and collect your belongings.
