Cahuita National Park has the largest system of coral reefs in Costa Rica, including six species of coral and a range of colorful tropical fish and occasionally the harmless reef shark or stingray. The beach has a horseshoe shape with the entrance of the park at one end and the beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end. Your adventure begins with a scenic 20-minute boat ride for two snorkel sessions. After snorkeling, boat to the beach to enjoy fruit and snacks followed by a one-hour guided hike in the coastal forest. Raft to Rios Lodge: Class III-IV Rafting

Depart for transfer by ground (with a stop for breakfast) to the river put-in point on the Pacuare River. Your river guides will help load your gear. Then, you’ll paddle down the Pacuare Gorge, rafting into the heart of the rainforest.
