Panama Romantic Adventure Overview:
Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Transfer to Sofitel Legend, Panama City
Upon arrival into Panama City, Panama you meet your driver for transfer to your hotel.
Arrive at the Sofitel Legend, one of the chicest additions to the Casco Viejo scene. Guests are treated to a private oasis in a beautiful historic building with sophisticated modern touches. Enjoy the rooftop pool, inventive seasonal cuisine, an elegant spa, and locally-influenced design.
Day 2
Half Day Panama City & Miraflores Locks Tour:
First you will visit the “Casco Antiguo” or Old Quarter – the city built in 1673 after the “Old Panama” was looted and burned. The predominant architectural style of the Casco Antiguo is a combination of Italian, French and Spanish colonial. You will visit beautiful churches – including the famous Golden Altar which survived the plundering of pirate Morgan – as well as different parks and plazas as you learn about the city’s history. Next, you will visit the emblematic Panama Canal. Visiting the Miraflores Locks visitor center makes it possible to learn about the history and the daily operation of the canal. This visitor center has three main attractions: The museum, the audiovisual presentation, and the lookout point where it’s possible to observe the ships passing through each one of the chambers. Day 3
Transfer to Nayara Bocas del Toro, Bocas del Toro
Transfer to the domestic airport for a 1-hour flight to Bocas del Toro off the Caribbean coast.
Upon arrival you will transfer ground and boat to the adults-only Nayara Bocas Bocas del Toro. Located on private Frangipani Island in Bocas del Toro, Nayara is one of only two hundred over-water hotels in the world boasting sixteen luxury villas. Guests can relax at an enticing 70-foot freshwater pool or visit one of the hotel’s two restaurants: Elephant House and The Coral Café.
Days 4 – 5
Free days
Relax in your villa or explore the waters of Bocas del Toro by paddleboard and kayak. Book excursions or spa treatments through the hotel concierge. Overnight Nayara Bocas del Toro.
Day 7
Transfer to Panama City
Transfer by boat and ground to the airport in Bocas del Toro. Then, check in for the 1-hour flight back to Panama City. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to Sofitel Legend for a final stay. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore. Overnight Sofitel Legend.
Day 8
Depart Panama City
This morning, meet your driver for transfer to the international airport in Panama City for your departure.
