DAILY ITINERARY
Day 1
Transfer to El Silencio Lodge & Spa, Bajos del Toro
Upon arriving in San Jose, you'll transfer about 1.5 hours to the hidden Cloud Forest of Bajos del Toro.
Your stay at El Silencio Lodge & Spa offers a sanctuary focused on eco-adventures and wellness. Surrounded by 500 acres of private carbon-offsetting cloud forest, guests can explore peaceful creeks, lush greenery, and hidden waterfalls. Take a scenic hike on-site, unwind in your private outdoor Jacuzzi, or book a spa treatment at Esencia Spa. The lodge also offers tours for more adventure, available at additional cost.
Day 2
Bajos del Toro Waterfall Hike
A rewarding yet demanding hike leads to the base of a majestic 290-foot waterfall that cascades into an extinct volcanic crater. As you descend along the steep jungle trail, enjoy the vibrant sounds of tropical birds and howler monkeys. Along the way, take breaks at scenic lookout points offering stunning vistas. *Please be advised that the climb back from the base of the waterfall involves approximately 400 steps. Day 3
Transfer to Hotel Amor Arenal, Arenal Volcano / La Fortuna
This morning, you'll embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to the Arenal Volcano region, known for its rich biodiversity and thrilling activities, even with the volcano at rest.
Check into Hotel Amor Arenal, a boutique resort nestled at the volcano's base, where each private casita offers a tranquil retreat with a personal thermal soaking pool surrounded by vibrant rainforest. Indulge in the hotel’s organic dining options at El Rancho or Tico Grill, and unwind at the thermal pools or full-service spa for ultimate relaxation after your adventures.
Day 4
Sky Walk, Aerial Tram, Trek Zipline Tour
Begin your day with the Sky Walk, a guided tour perfect for nature lovers! On this tour, look for a variety of flora, fauna, and beautiful birds. Along the 2.25-mile trail (approximately 3 hours), observe 3 waterfalls, one of which drops 30 meters. On the Sky Tram cable car, get a bird's eye view of the volcano, Lake Arenal, and the Tilaran Mountain Range. The Sky Tram ends at a wide observation platform where you can take photos and admire the volcano backdrop. Day 5
Arenal Free Day

Day 6
Transfer to Arenas del Mar Beach Resort, Manuel Antonio / Quepos
Today transfer to the Arenal Airport for a short charter flight to Quepos. Upon arrival transfer to Arenas del Mar Beach and Nature Resort, located next to the Manuel Antonio National Park on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Unique beach and nature experiences combined with the highest levels of comfort and sustainability in a local Costa Rican setting define the concept of Arenas del Mar.
Day 7
Private Manuel Antonio Park Hike
Enjoy the beach or go on an adventure! The resort overlooks the Manuel Antonio National Park (closed on Mondays) and is set on 11 acres of forest with private nature trails and access to two beautiful beaches. Day 8
Manuel Antonio Free Day

Day 9
Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
Today you will be met and driven approximately 3 hours back to San Jose international airport where you will connect to your afternoon return flight home.
