Balsa River White Water Rafting

The Class III Balsa River White Water Rapids offers a fun experience for both first-time and experienced paddlers. The first half of the river has continuous rapids with small pools in between where you rest. In the second half, the rapids are more spread out and less intense – great for wildlife watching! Enjoy lunch before returning to Nayara Springs for overnight.

Transfer to Rancho Pacifico, Uvita

Today, meet your driver for transfer by ground about 20 minutes to the local airport in Arenal/La Fortuna. Check in for the short flight to Quepos (*note: some flights have a stop in San Jose). Upon arrival, you will be picked up and driven approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour to Uvita on the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Arrive at Rancho Pacifico Boutique Hotel for overnight. Full-Day Corcovado National Park Tour

Early this morning, you’ll head down to Playa Uvita, where you and your fellow passengers will prepare to board a boat for the 1.5-hour journey to Corcovado National Park. Located south of Uvita on the remote Osa Peninsula, the park is known for its abundance of rainforest vegetation and wildlife. Along the way to the park, you might spot whales (when in season), dolphins, turtles, and manta rays. Spend the day hiking the coastal and inland trails in search of monkeys, sloths, coatis, and wild tapirs. Your guide will share the secrets of the rainforest as you observe your surroundings.
