The Retreat is an 11-room luxury boutique hotel located 40 minutes away from San Jose International Airport in the Central Valley of Costa Rica.

Amenities

The Retreat amenities include a pool, Jacuzzi, yoga, fitness room, and steam room. There are morning Hatha Yoga classes and afternoon Restorative Yoga classes daily. A few hikes are available on the property including a hike to Goldmine Waterfalls, the Municipal Forest, and Desmonte Mountain. Activities in the area include ziplining, artisan chocolate tasting, organic coffee farm tours, surf lessons, boat trips, and more.

Cuisine

The Boca Dulce Restaurant is their farm-to-table restaurant concept and the highlight of the hotel created by Celebrity Chef, Diana Stobo. The Retreat also offers a wellness cooking class put on by Chef Stobo, a French-trained raw foods expert. Guests can also participate in a wine pairing dinner lead by a trained wine Sommelier.
