Transfer to Tabacon Thermal Resort (Arenal Volcano)

Upon your morning or afternoon arrival in San Jose, meet your driver for transfer by ground approximately 3 hours to the Arenal Volcano area.

Arrive at the Tabacón Thermal Resort for an overnight. Tabacón boasts the area’s best natural hot springs heated by the Arenal Volcano. These mineral-rich waters wind through lush tropical gardens, creating stunning cascades and tranquil pools for an unforgettable experience.

Your trip begins with a self-guided nature walk along the Sky Walk Bridges. This 4km trail offers a serene journey through a vibrant ecosystem, with suspension bridges granting intimate views of the forest canopy. The trail includes uneven terrain and varied elevations, adding a sense of adventure to your memorable forest exploration.

On the aerial Sky Tram, enjoy scenic views of the volcano and Lake Arenal as you ascend to the canopy level of the forest. The Sky Tram ends at a wide observation platform where you can take photos of the amazing scenery. Then, prepare for The Sky Trek: a system of zip lines that weave through the treetops across the Arenal Rainforest Reserve. Guests enjoy two on-site restaurants, two pools, and amazing Pacific sunsets! Add restaurant reservations, taxi services, and additional tours with the hotel concierge. *Note: Si Como No is set on a hillside with beautiful views, so some stair climbing and mild “hiking” may be a part of your stay.

Enjoy extraordinary views of Manuel Antonio aboard Brisa Elegante. Featuring two expansive teak decks and multiple spacious lounge areas, this 100’ gulet is the only one of its kind in Central America.  As the ship follows the coastline along Manuel Antonio National Park, the crew will serve a welcome cocktail and fresh fruit (additional alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the bar).  You might spot dolphins, turtles, manta rays, and more during the cruise. Depending on wind and weather conditions, the ship will anchor in a sheltered bay for optional self-guided snorkeling and other water activities. This morning, you will transfer by ground approximately 3 hours to the international airport in San Jose for your afternoon or evening departure.

Pricing is valid through the date listed for each itinerary (all pricing is subject to change until booked and confirmed). Holiday season supplements apply for Christmas, New Year’s, Presidents’ Day, and Easter travel dates. Green season specials and/or lower rates may apply for May to November travel dates.

All itineraries are land only, and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example, a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
