Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Transfer to Westin Playa Conchal, Guanacaste
Upon arrival in Liberia, Costa Rica you will be met and driven for approximately 1 hour to Westin Playa Conchal All-Inclusive Resort in the Guanacaste region on the Northern Pacific Coast. The Westin Playa Conchal is one of the largest resorts in Costa Rica with over 2,400 acres of nature and water sports accessible from this beachfront resort.
Day 2
Afternoon Catamaran Sailing Tour
Depart this afternoon to board your luxury catamaran from Flamingo Marina. The crew will set sail to some of the most beautiful and isolated snorkel locations in Costa Rica. Look for sea turtles, dolphins, whales (in season), pufferfish, and more. Drop anchor in a tranquil bay, snorkel, and explore while the onboard chef cooks a delicious buffet meal. Enjoy a cold tropical drink as the catamaran catches the sunset. Overnight Westin Playa Conchal All Inclusive Resort.
Day 3
Playa Conchal Free Day

Day 4
Playa Conchal Free Day
Today would be a great day to relax and book a spa treatment! Kids might enjoy checking out the kid’s club. If you golf, we recommend booking a tee time at the 18-hole championship Reserva Conchal Golf Course. Alternatively, talk to a Costa Rica Expert about adding on tours in the area! Day 5
Rincon de la Vieja Hike & Hot Springs (Full Day)
Start your day with a scenic two-hour drive to Rincon de la Vieja National Park, where a guided hike will take you through trails offering breathtaking panoramic views, diverse flora and fauna, and fascinating volcanic features like boiling mud pools and fumaroles. Home to over 300 bird species and wildlife such as armadillos, peccaries, iguanas, coatis, and three species of monkeys, the park provides a unique opportunity to connect with nature. After your hike, savor a delicious lunch before visiting the Rio Negro thermal springs. Nestled in a lush forest, these crystal-clear, mineral-rich waters flow through 10 rustic pools accessible via two hanging bridges. Relax and soak in the pools of varying temperatures before returning to the comfort of your hotel at the Westin Playa Conchal Resort and Spa.

Playa Conchal Free Day
Relax on Playa Conchal, one of the country’s most beautiful beaches! Overnight Westin Playa Conchal Resort and Spa.
Day 7
Playa Conchal Free Day
Enjoy your last day in Costa Rica doing exactly as you please. Overnight Westin Playa Conchal All Inclusive Resort.
Day 8
Depart Liberia, Costa Rica
Today you will be met and driven approximately 1 hour to the Liberia international airport for your return flight home.
Pricing is valid through the date listed for each itinerary (all pricing is subject to change until booked and confirmed). Holiday season supplements apply for Christmas, New Year’s, Presidents Day, and Easter travel dates. Green season specials and/or lower rates may apply for May to November travel dates.
All itineraries are land only, and international airfare is quoted separately. Depending on your international flight schedule, itinerary adjustments may be necessary. For example, a late arrival usually requires a night near the airport in San Jose.
