If you’re eager to try a little bit of everything, our 8-night Costa Rica Multi-Sport Adventure package is for you! Discover a charming coffee plantation and inn with gourmet dining and local artisan touches. Then, explore the wild and remote Osa Peninsula including Corcovado National Park, the wildest and most biologically diverse rainforest in the country, and snorkel Cano Island. Finally, experience Arenal Volcano on a ziplining excursion, canyon and waterfall rappeling, white water rafting, and a biking tour around Lake Arenal!

DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1
Arrive Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn, Costa Rica
Upon arrival into San Jose, you will meet your driver for transfer about 25 minutes to Heredia, situated in the hills overlooking the Central Valley.

Arrive at Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn for overnight. Situated on 10 acres of fruit trees and dramatic tropical flora, the charming inn is a local treasure. Surrounded by towering Higueron trees, it showcases spectacular views of the Central Valley below. Finca Rosa Blanca is known for its inventive gourmet dining, prepared with ingredients from its own orchard and organic garden. Relax by the pool and enjoy stunning views any time of day.
Day 2
Transfer to Aguila de Osa Inn, Osa Peninsula
This morning, transfer to the San Jose Airport for the short and scenic flight to Drake Bray, on the Osa Peninsula. Arrive at Aguila de Osa Inn where you will be inundated with comfort and seclusion. The jungle-covered hills and calm waters of Drake Bay bring a feeling of complete and total relaxation and seclusion.
Day 3
Corcovado National Park Guided Hike
This morning you'll take a boat to the entrance of the Corcovado National Park, one of the top-rated national parks in the world. It's a biologically-intense 100,000 acres, packed with an abundance of tropical birds, butterflies, monkeys, sloths, and much more! Have a refreshing swim in a waterfall before the return to Copa de Arbol for overnight.
Day 4
Cano Island Reserve Snorkeling Tour
This small piece of paradise is covered with evergreen forest that pushes against a curve of white sand beaches ringed with turquoise waters and coral covered rock reefs. The island is a popular destination for scuba diving and snorkeling among the big fish (including white-tip sharks and bull sharks). Spotted dolphins sometimes play in your boat's wake. Between December and April 40-ton humpback whales come from their Alaskan feeding grounds and manta rays with 15 to 20 feet wingspans are spotted from February to June. Certified divers can substitute a full day Scuba diving tour at additional cost. Overnight Copa de Arbol.
Day 5
Transfer to Hotel Arenal Manoa Corin, Arenal / La Fortuna
This morning, transfer to Drake Bay airstrip for the short flight back to San Jose. Upon arrival transfer by ground approximately 3 hours to the Arenal Volcano. While Arenal Volcano is in a resting phase, it is still one of the most popular adventure tour destinations in the country.

Arrive at Hotel Arenal Manoa, an ideal place to base yourself in Arenal for adventure. Guests enjoy fantastic views of Arenal Volcano, as well as a spacious pool and restaurant with views.
Day 6
Arenal Reserve: Sky Aerial Tram & Sky Trek Zipline
Experience the excitement of the Arenal Reserve with two favorite tours! First, discover the wonder of soaring over the treetops with an experienced natural guide on the Sky Tram. Keep your eyes peeled for the birds and wildlife that can only be found in the forest canopy. After, the thrills truly begin with the Sky Trek - a zipline adventure! The 8 cross-sectional cables span over 4.5 miles. Overnight Hotel Arenal Manoa.
Day 7
Pure Trek Canyon Rappel & Balsa White Water Rafting Adventure
Enjoy an exhilirating morning of rappelling, canyoning, a monkey drop (zipline and rappel), and rock climbing in a spectacular rainforest canyon. Then, take a short hike out of the canyon and head back to the Pure Trek headquarters and gardens for a delicious Costa Rican lunch. After lunch, go to the Balsa River for about 2 hours of white water rafting in the rainforest. Experience the wild rapids of "Magnetic Rock" and "Dredges." Take a swim in the river and stop for fresh tropical fruit and a cold drink. Overnight Hotel Arenal Manoa.
Day 8
Arenal Lake to El Castillo Half Day Mountain Bike Tour
Ride along an old road connecting the main entrance of Arenal Volcano National Park to Arenal Dam. Then, head towards the village of El Castillo, biking on a road bordered by dense forest and some cattle farms. Look for coatis, tropical birds, and several monkey species. Stop for a picnic on the shore of Lake Arenal and take a refreshing dip in the waters. Overnight Hotel Arenal Manoa.
Day 9
Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
Today transfer about 3 hours to San Jose international airport for your mid-afternoon departure.

All itineraries are land only and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
