DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1
Transfer to Manuel Antoino / Quepos
Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa RIca you will be met and driven approximately 3 hours to Manuel Antonio / Quepos for overnight at Hotel Si Como No. This sustainable boutique hotel is located on a rainforest cliffside overlooking the Pacific Ocean just a short shuttle ride to Manuel Antonio National Park and nearby beaches.
Day 2
Manuel Antonio National Park Hike
Explore Costa Rica's favorite little national park, Manuel Antonio. The park has three of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the country with a backdrop of dense tropical rainforest and wildlife. A naturalist will guide you along the trails through the park pointing out the natural wonders and history of the little abundant park. There are 109-known mammal species and 184 bird species that can be found within the park boarders. Don't forget to wear your swimsuit to take a refreshing swim on the park's beaches! Day 3
Santa Juana Mountain & Canopy Safari Combo
Your day begins with a 4x4 excursion through local palm plantations, fields, and river crossings as you ascent Santa Juana Mountain. You'll stop first at Canopy Safari for a 1 1/2 hour zipline adventure through the treetops. Then, learn all about the traditional sugar cane or "Trapiche" process. Discover the trails and exotic reptiles, animals, birds, and insects of the Fila Chonta Mountain Range. Take a refreshing swim at the base of a jungle waterfall and go fishing for Tilapia in ponds. Day 4
Villa Vanilla Spice Tour
Villa Vanilla is a 27-acre spice plantation with an additional 125 acres of secondary and primary rainforest. The plantation is certified organic and biodynamic and they grow a variety of essential oil plants and spices such as vanilla, Ceylon (cinnamon), and cocoa. Take a walk through the plantation along the Rock Garden Trail. You will arrive at the Punta Mira viewpoint, where you can try an assortment of gourmet chocolates, spice treats, and seasonal fruits. Day 5
Damas Mangrove Boat Tour
A professional naturalist guide will steer you through Damas mangrove in search of wildlife. Look for troops of monkeys as they navigate the mangrove estuaries in search of food., birds, crocodiles, and estuary amphibians. Your guide will share the secrets of the ecosystem and the vital impact it has on the environment. End your tour with a filling Costa Rican meal. Overnight Hotel Si Como No.
Day 6
Horseback Riding Tocori Mountain & Waterfall
Discover the exotic plants and rare wildlife of the region on this half-day adventure through Tocori Biological Reserve, a tropical jungle just minutes from Manuel Antonio. After an hour horseback ride, take a guided nature walk and Don Gilberto and his family will lead you on a tropical adventure to Tocori Waterfall. After the refreshing waterfall excursion, enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. Finally, visit the private herb and plant garden to learn about the indigenous plants of the region. Day 7
Savegre River Rafting: Class II-III
The Savegre River class II-III rafting adventure is one all ages can enjoy combining relaxation, action, and fantastic landscapes, After a safety briefing, start on thrilling rapids like "Boca Diablo" and the "washing machine." You'll hit the "screaming child" rapid toward the end. Then, the river will calm down for the remainder of the excursion. Enjoy a delicious lunch after the days' excitement before returning to Hotel Si Como No for overnight.
Day 8
Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
Today, you will be driven approximately 3 hours to San Jose International Airport for your return flight home.

Holiday season supplements apply for Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day, and Easter travel dates. Green season specials and/or lower rates may apply for May to November travel dates.

All itineraries are land only and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
