DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1
Transfer to Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation
Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica transfer to Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation and Inn in Heredia for overnight. Nestled amid fruit trees and tropical flora, the inn is a jewel crowning a picturesque knoll. The Inn is renowned for its fine cuisine, prepared with bounty from its own orchards and organic garden.
Day 2
Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Tour
Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation has over 30 acres of hard bean coffee, which is certified organic by the Rain Forest Alliance. Guests are encouraged to enjoy a tour of the plantation, learning how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed. Learn how it was discovered, traded, and consumed, before experiencing the processing. Try a hand at roasting your own coffee, before a "coffee cupping" session where you'll see how experts rate the gourmet. Overnight Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation and Inn.
Day 3
Transfer to Bajos del Toro Cloud Forest
Today transfer about 1 1/2 hours to the El Silencio Lodge and Spa for overnight. Hidden in Costa Rica’s central volcanic region, El Silencio is a planet-friendly sanctuary for soft adventure and inspired wellness. Silencio, Spanish for silence, is befitting of an enchanting place where daily stress is hushed and the sounds of nature bloom. Explore and enjoy 500 private acres of carbon-offsetting tropical cloud forest in Costa Rica’s crisp central volcanic region, surrounded by gently flowing creeks and hidden waterfalls.
Day 4
Los Bajos Cultural Tour
Los Bajos del Toro Amarillo is a thriving rural community with rich traditions, unsurpassed landscapes, and intriguing flora. You'll have a chance to pay a visit to Don Martin Porras, a local orchid enthusiast. His garden features more than 400 species. The remainder of the day is free to relax, schedule a spa treatment or plan an excursion. Overnight El Silencio Lodge and Spa.
Day 5
La Tirimbina Chocolate Tour
Today become a savvy chocolatier on the La Tirimbina Chocolate Tour. Hiding in the thick forest is a former cocoa bean plantation. A guided hike is followed by a truly hands-on chocolate making session! Try cracking open the cocoa fruit, hand grind, and add your favorite extra flavors! This is a great tour for kids and every adults' inner child. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight El Silencio Lodge and Spa.
