DAILY ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrive Origins Lodge, Upala
Upon arrival in Liberia, Costa Rica, you transfer by ground for approximately 1 ½ hours to the remote Upala region.
Arrive at Origins Luxury Lodge. Origins is situated in the inland mountains overlooking a valley with 180-degree views over the estate, volcanoes, and Nicaragua Lake. You’ll be treated to fresh meals prepared by a Michelin Star chef, relax in a wood-fired terrace bathtub, and have your choice of a wide variety of daily activities.
Day 2
Private Rio Celeste Waterfall Tour
You will be picked up early this morning for a drive about two hours to Tenorio Volcano area. At the park entrance, you will begin a challenging trek through the forest. During your tour, visit the magnificent Rio Celeste Waterfall and the place where the river ends its light blue coloration. Take a moment to enjoy the hot springs (swimming in dry season only). The Rio Celeste River is among the best hikes in the country. Take in the unique flor and fauna. Then, enjoy a delicious well-deserved lunch before returning to your hotel. Day 3
Origins Lodge Free Day
Activities abound at Origins Luxury Lodge. Discover the turquoise waters of the nearby Rio Celeste, take a yoga or cooking class, explore the grounds on horseback, learn about the healing properties of the on-site Melipone bees’ honey, go lagoon fishing, rappel at a nearby cavern, and end your day with an outdoor massage. Discover the property pathways on your own or lead by a professional naturalist guide. Don’t miss one of the highlights of Origins Lodge: hiking to Oro Waterfall!
Day 4
Transfer to The Four Seasons, Papagayo Peninsula
This morning, you will be picked up and driven approximately 2 1/2 hours to the Four Seasons Resort situated on Peninsula Papagayo between two golden beaches for overnight. Overlooking two bodies of water, The Four Season's sprawling scenery and lavish amenities make for an awe-inspiring vacation grand finale.
Day 5
Papagayo Free Day
Play on the exclusive Arnold Palmer 18 hole golf course or schedule some zen at a relaxing morning yoga class. Then, grab lunch and lounge seaside on golden beaches. Overnight Four Seasons Resort.
Day 6
Papagayo Free Day
Grab a cocktail from the open-air lobby and head to the infinity pool for the morning and book a massage at the spa for ultimate relaxation. Overnight Four Seasons Resort.
Day 7
Papagayo Free Day
Relax and unwind on the beach on your last day of tropical luxury or add Guanacaste Tours if you'd like to check out the area. Overnight Four Seasons Resort.
Day 8
Depart Liberia, Costa Rica
This morning, transfer by ground approximately 40 minutes to the Liberia international airport for departure.
