DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1
Dec 23: Transfer to Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica transfer approximately 3 hours to the Quepos / Manuel Antonio region on the coast for overnight at Hotel Si Como No. Si Como No is an eco boutique hotel located high up on a hillside with stunning views out over the Pacific Ocean and lush coast.
Day 2
Dec 24: Manuel Antonio National Park
A naturalist guide will pick you up and this morning and take you to Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica's favorite tiny national park featuring three beautiful white sand beaches, lush rainforest, and abundant wildlife. The area is home to 184 know species of birds and 109 species of mammals. Bring a bathing suit and towel to enjoy the beaches after the tour! Overnight Hotel Si Como No.
Day 3
Dec 25: Canopy Safari Zipline
On the way to your canopy safari adventure, a professional guide will stop off and point out the exotic flora and fauna native to Costa Rica. Arrive at a charming ranch house where you will take lunch before your canopy adventure. The canopy tour consists of 18 platforms, 2 rappel lines, 10 zipline cables, a suspension bridge, and a Tarzan swing. Overnight Hotel Si Como No.
Day 4
Dec 26: Transfer to Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula
Today you will be met and transferred to approximately 1 hour to the Sierpe River for boat transfer to Aguila de Osa Inn located on Drake Bay of the remote Osa Peninsula. Between the Pacific Ocean and the rainforest, Aguila de Osa Inn is a secluded ecolodge. The rooms enjoy refreshing tropical breezes from open-air windows with protective mesh screens. Throughout your stay, enjoy fresh family style meals in their open-air restaurant.
Day 5
Dec 27: Full Day Guided Corcovado National Park Hike
This morning, take a boat ride to the entrance of Corcovado National Park, which protects more than 100,000 acres of forest and many of Costa Rica's endangered species. Hike through the park with a naturalist guide looking for tropical birds, butterflies, monkeys, sloths, and more. Cool off with a refreshing waterfall swim before heading back to Aguila de Osa Inn for overnight
Day 6
Dec 28: Cano Island Biological Reserve Snorkeling Tour
One of the best destinations for snorkeling and diving among big fish (like white tip sharks and bull sharks) is Cano Island. Beginning in December, humpback whales can be seen in the area. A guide will bring you to the best snorkeling spots around the island and share more information about the marine life of the area. Certified divers can substitute a full day of diving for an additional cost. Overnight Aguila de Osa Inn.
Day 7
Dec 29: Free Day Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula
Enjoy a free day exploring Aguila de Osa Inn or add additional Osa Peninsula Tours. Overnight Aguila de Osa Inn.
Day 8
Dec 30: Transfer to San Jose
Today you will be met and transferred to the Drake Bay domestic airport for the flight to San Jose. Upon arrival, transfer to the Park Inn. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of downtown San Jose, perfect for exploring the city.
Day 9
Dec 31: Pacuare River Overnight White Water Rafting: Class III-IV
Early this morning, you'll depart on a 2 hour transfer to the Rios Tropicales Operations Center, where you'll enjoy breakfast. Your river guides will give safety and paddle instruction before gearing up for Class III rapids on the Pacuare River gorge. Raft deep into the heart of the primary rainforest, and enjoy the view. Take lunch on a river bank prepared by your guide, and explore a nearby waterfall. Then, continue on to Rios Tropicales Lodge situated on a 1000-acre private nature reserve, where you can relax, zipline, hike, and swim in natural pools and waterfalls.
Day 10
Jan 1: Pacuare River Rafting Continued
After breakfast, paddle down the Pacuare River gorge pas gushing waterfalls, pools, and rapids. At the river take out, transfer back to the Rios Tropicales Operation Center. Enjoy a hot lunch, and pick up the rest of your bags. Showers, changing rooms, snacks, and beverages are also available. In the afternoon, transfer back to the Park Inn San Jose for overnight.
Day 11
Jan 2: Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
Today transfer to the San Jose International Airport for your return flight home.

Pricing is valid through the date listed for each itinerary (all pricing is subject to change until booked and confirmed). Holiday season supplements apply for Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day, and Easter travel dates. Green season specials and/or lower rates may apply for May to November travel dates.

All itineraries are land only and international airfare is quoted separately. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. For example a late arrival will usually require a night near the airport in San Jose.
