DAILY ITINERARY
Day 1
Dec 22: Transfer to Arenal, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in Liberia, Costa Rica you will be met and driven approximately 2 1/2 hours to Tabacon Grand Spa & Thermal Resort in the Arenal Volcano region. Tabacon Resort has a variety of thermal pools on the property of varying temperatures naturally heated by the volcano for guests to enjoy.
Day 2
Dec 23: Aerial Tram & Trek Zipline
The Sky Aerial Tram is a cableway designed to transport travelers through the forest canopy with spectacular views of the forest canopy. The tram will bring you up to an observation deck with views of Arenal Volcano, Lake Arenal, and the Tilaran Mountain Range. Your zipline adventure will take off from the observation deck. The zipline consists of 8 cross-sectional cables for a total length of 4.5 miles. Enjoy a bird's eye view before returning to Tabacon Grand Spa & Thermal Resort for overnight.
Day 3
Dec 24: Balsa River Whitewater Rafting Class II-III
The Balsa River has a range of class III rapids for first-time and experienced paddlers. There are continuous class III rapids with small pools in between for the first half of the adventure. In the second half, the rapids are more spread out and less intense - great for wildlife watching! Be on the lookout for tropical birds and mammals and enjoy the lush jungle landscape. Day 4
Dec 25: Hanging Bridges
Arenal Hanging Bridges is an ecotourism project focused on the protection and observation of nature. This private nature reserve has nearly 250 hectares of rainforest and a wide variety of birds, animals, flowers, and vegetation. Walk along the trails over eight fixed bridges, and six hanging bridges overlooking the forest canopy. Don't miss the waterfall extension trail at the end of the hike! Day 5
Dec 26: Transfer to Reserva Conchal, Guanacaste
Today you will be picked up and driven approximately 3 1/2 hours to The W at Reserva Conchal in the Guanacaste region. The brand new resort is located between mangroves and unspoiled beaches of the North Pacific Coast. The resort is decorated in a style that is modern while incorporating local cultural elements.
Day 6
Dec 27: Conchal Beach Free Day
Enjoy the white sand beaches of Conchal Beach, relax by the pool, or book a spa treatment on your last day in Costa Rica! Overnight The W at Reserva Conchal
Day 7
Dec 28: Conchal Beach Free Day
Book a T-time at the Reserva Conchal Golf Course or add-on a Guanacaste day excursion. Overnight The W at Reserva Conchal.
Day 8
Dec 29: Depart Liberia, Costa Rica
Today you will be picked up and driven approximately 1 hour to the Liberia International Airport for your return flight home.
