DAILY ITINERARY
Day 1
Transfer to Tierra Magnifica, Nosara
Today you will be met and transferred about 2 hours to the Nosara area on the Nicoya Peninsula.
Arrive at Tierra Magnifica overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the coast of Playa Guiones. Nestled on the hilltop with stunning views of the mountains, forest and valleys from every room, the resort features an open-air bar lounge, al-fresco dining, and a fire circle. Down here the days are sunny and serene and schedules are determined by the sun, surf, and conversations with the chef.
Day 2
Yoga Class
Start your day with sun salutations. Enjoy a group glass in the open air from the ocean-view yoga pavilion. Private classes are available as well. Overnight Tierra Magnifica.
Day 3
Nosara Free Day
Head out and explore the beach. Guests have complimentary access to the Beach Club at Gilded Iguana, a beach headquarters with bathrooms, towels, surfboard rentals, and more. Back at the hotel you can book a spa treatment, find your center in the ocean-view yoga pavilion, or wander Tierra Magnifica's nature trails. Overnight Tierra Magnifica.
Day 4
Transfer to Isla Chiquita, Nicoya Peninsula // PM Bioluminescence Adventure
Today, you will be met and driven approximately 3 hours to Isla Chiquita Glamping Resort, a brand new luxury property in the Gulf of Nicoya. Enjoy seaside dining and breezy island living. Please note the resort does not have a swimming pool or A/C and instead relies on the ocean and island breezes to keep cool.
This evening, experience a mesmerizing phenomenon in which the ocean lights up in the dark of night. Made from high concentrations of light-emitting plankton, the bioluminescence imbues the waters with a starry-night effect. Experience this unique effect by kayak or boat on the waters surrounding Isla Chiquita.
Day 5
Curu Biological Reserve
Curuc Biological Reserve was the first private biological reserve in Costa Rica. Wild trails lined with tropical wonders set the stage for discovery. Birds, monkeys, and other exotic wildlife inhabit the reserve. Hiking difficulties range from tame to intense. Talk to your guide to adjust for your preferences. Overnight Isla Chiquita.
Day 6
Tortuga Island Cruise
Tortuga Island is known for its white sand beach surrounded by the clear blue ocean. Considered one of the most beautiful islands South of the Nicoya Peninsula, it is only thirty minutes from Isla Chiquita. Enjoy snorkeling, walking the beach, and a la carte paid activities like kayaking, hiking and banana boat rides. During your stay, enjoy access to an exclusive area with special amenities. Day 7
Transfer to Nantipa Lodge, Nicoya Peninsula
This morning transfer to the local domestic airport for a short, scenic flight to Tambor on the Nicoya Peninsula. Arrive at Nantipa Resort for overnight. This off-the-beaten-path, laid-back resort is barefoot luxury at its finest.
Day 8
Montezuma Canopy Tour
The Montezuma Waterfall Canopy Tour consists of 9 cables and 13 platforms suspended high about the forest floor. The tour allows you the opportunity to see plants and animals uniuqe to the area like the howler monkey, white-faced monkey, parrots, iguanas, and much more. This adventure include the Montezuma Waterfalls, wher eyou can go for a swim in the pools carbed out by the cascading water. After the tour, return to Nantipa Resort for overnight.
Day 9
Nicoya Peninsula Free Day
You've entered yoga country. Yogis travel from around the world to practice yoga here on the Nicoya Peninsula. Be sure to schedule a class so you don't miss out on this world-class experience. Overnight Nantipa Resort.
Day 10
Depart San Jose, Costa Rica
Today take a domestic flight back to San Jose where you will connect to the international terminal and depart for your flight home.
