Extravagant Costa Rica

Day 1:  Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica, you will transfer to the domestic airport for a private charter flight to the Quepos / Manuel Antonio area on the Central Pacific Coast.  Upon arrival, you will transfer to the Gaia Hotel and Reserve - A luxury boutique beach 5 star hotel and resort member of "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". Imagine a tropical getaway that offers sublime luxury in a spectacularly exotic locale. The Gaia Hotel achieves an ideal blend of modern amenities and natural scenery. Nestled in the magnificent coastal forests of Costa Rica, the hotel’s well-appointed, terraced suites and villas offer views of lush and pristine wild surroundings that are beyond compare.

Day 2 – 4: Free days to relax the beach or plan day trips. Manuel Antonio National Park contains three of the country’s most beautiful beaches and casual trails that wind through the rainforest where it grows to the water’s edge.  Other attractions and tours include hiking with naturalist guides for wildlife observation, adventure canopy tour, sport fishing, sea kayaking, mountain biking, ATV tours, Dolphin Watch boat tour, horseback riding, bird watching, Butterfly Farm Tour, exploring the Isla Damas Estuary by kayak or boat, Rainmaker Reserve and suspension bridges, Sunset Sailing and whitewater rafting. Guided excursions at additional cost can be pre-booked or arranged upon arrival.  Don’t forget to visit the fun shops and restaurants in the old United Fruit Company town of Quepos. Overnight Gaia Hotel and Reserve.

Day 5: Today, you will meet with a bilingual guide and transfer by ground approximately 5 – 6 hours to the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo, for overnight. On a slender Pacific isthmus, on the Northern Pacific Coast, fringed by gold-sand beaches, Four Seasons introduces Costa Rica’s finest luxury resort. Enjoy: Arnold Palmer-designed golf. Three infinity-edge pools. A tropically serene spa. Also explore dynamic eco adventures on land and at sea – orchestrated with famed Four Seasons perfection.

The 153 generously sized guest rooms, suites are imaginatively crafted with indigenous woods, and stone finishes. Each room seamlessly blends indoor comfort with an outdoor terrace or balcony living area and mesmerizing views. Sliding louvered doors between sleeping and living spaces maximize privacy and invite the flow of fresh sea breezes. Residential-style furnishings and décor draw their inspiration from the natural surroundings: ocean, forest, sunshine and beach.

Well-defined work areas allow guests to remain productive, with up-to-the-minute technology for communication and entertainment, including high-speed Internet access throughout. Extra-spacious bathrooms are cool, airy and inviting, clad in marble and offering signature Four Seasons features: deep soaking tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, large double vanity and – in a separate alcove – WC with telephone. Some feature private outdoor showers.

The resort features several dining options including ocean vistas from Di Mare restaurant, casual tropical dining at Papagayo, and poolside dining under the sun and stars at Congo's.  Also featured are verdant decks surrounding the free-form pool, children’s play pool, children's and young adults' program, large fitness center and full-service spa… with treatments inspired by the tropics. A championship 18-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer is also one of the resort’s crowning jewels.

Day 6 – 8:  Free Days.  With two expansive beaches, Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica offers an enticing array of water sports daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Complimentary activities include snorkeling, windsurfing, boogie boarding, sea kayaking and outrigger canoeing. State-of-the-art sporting equipment is provided, along with instruction for all levels. For an applicable fee, world-class fishing, scuba diving, surfing and white water rafting are also available.  Guided tours are available at extra cost including Horseback Riding, Catamaran Cruise, Corobici Float trip, Adventure Canopy Tour, Wildlife Watching and Trail Ride, Arenal Volcano and Tabacon Hot Springs, Rincon de La Vieja National Park and Volcano, and Santa Rosa National Park.
